Rebecca Rosenblatt serves as Director of Education at Ridgecrest Academy. At Ridgecrest Academy, Rebecca’s primary responsibilities include managing the school and its curriculum, and assuring recovering students the opportunity to receive a high-quality education in a safe learning environment. Prior to her current assignment, she served as director of the Learning Lab of Green Hills and Gateway Academy at the Learning Lab, a related company, for five years.
Rebecca joined the Learning Lab from Prosper Education, Inc., where she was Director of Programs and Enrollment in 2008 and 2009. Her role entailed serving as liaison between the company, school districts, school principals and enrolled families. She also managed the certified teachers and managed implementation of the school’s curriculum.
Rebecca began her work in education in 2002 as Regional Manager for AlphaBEST Education, where she was responsible for oversight over six school districts in three states in their implementation of Supplemental Educational Services. There she grew the program from 40 elementary school students to more than 1,500 students over a two-year stretch.
Beyond her continued employment in educational environments for the past 14 years, Rebecca has held numerous positions of responsibility in educationally-oriented organizations.
Rebecca holds a B.S. in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee, with a minor in psychology and concentration in family therapy.
